To the Nobel Peace Prize Committee,

 

This is a letter of proposing the name of Korean poet and peace activist Baek Han-Yi as a candidate to the Peace Nobel Prize.

The Poet Baek Han-Yi wishes for world peace like bellows:

“World Brotherhood and Peace Through Poetry for Natural Modernism”

Natural Modernism means that only the enjoyment of sublimated culture let human overcome natural disaster and have peace and welfare societies by harmonizing with mother nature, life, human being, and civilizations.)

Mankind, all of us know the truth that whole logics of the world are in relatively. It is a natural of human conscience. That is rightly the rationality. All of civilizations against the rationality follow to disasters. It promotes the termination. Enjoying a feast with the Natural Modernism being mature by creating the recognition and industrial civilization well with the enzyme of conscience following blindly to the rationality is only the Human road way to the good world (Utopia=Nowhere=理想鄕). Just look at reality and history of mankind!

Baek Han-Yi was born in Korea on February 4^th, 1937. He has graduated from the school of Law of the University of Jung-chi. He started writing poetry in1961, in the form of “green arirang”. In 1987 he established the Hangchon Foundation and created the Apricot Natural Modernism, a poetry movement.

Also, in 1987 he inaugurated the Institute of Music Hanseo. Since then he is very well known as an international poet, a pacifist literary activist. In 1991 he received the title of Doctor in Literature in Korea and the Poet’s Gold Crown. In 1993 he received a Doctor’s Degree in Literature from Israel. I 1995 he was organizing President of the Congress of the WAAC in Seoul. As an international poet, Baek Han-Yi has participated in several international poetry contests, congresses, and his poetry is present in anthologies published all over the world. He has participated in poetry festivals for twenty times in Turkey, Greece, China, Japan, USA etc. in 1995 he became the president Organizing Committee for the WAAC and he is its present President. Poet Baek Han-Yi received the Doctor Honor is Causa from the IWA and is in its Board of Directors.
